Most people speak a lot, but this does not make them aware of all the factors involved in doing it well.

The most natural thing to do is speaking, even when some quality of pitch, emotion or even modulating the voice is not in use. Uncontrolled expression is makes a person seem uneducated. There are professionals who can help anyone out with the more obvious problems of speech defects that do not need surgical solutions. These are things like stammers, stuttering not influenced by physical defects, and an uneven voice. On the academic end, wrong turns of phrase can be solved by teaching the basics of polite conversation and speaking.

The ways to improve the way you speak are many, and all of them often target the thing called stage fright.
