The Process Of Developing A Photographic Memory

By Cynthia Stevens

Memories are a sum up of every thing we see, feel and touch. There are various ways of developing a photographic memory in our brains. One needs to be a little bit patient and consistent when trying out this mental process. To be precise, cards can be used to trigger your memorizing capability.

The first method is quite hard because it involves the process of memorizing the first three cards on the deck of thirty two cards. The time taken for one to fully cram these cards varies. In most cases, it usually takes months or even a year for those who are patient in memorizing. The process should be carried out repeatedly and consistently.

A deck comprises of about thirty two cards that have the equal chances of being selected when you pick cards for memorizing. You are expected to memorize other five cards once you are able to identify the three cards that you handled earlier. This procedure ought to be done frequently until you have an accurate mastery of the thirty two deck cards.

It is advisable to memorize more cards as time goes by to increase your cramming ability. Furthermore, the main objective of this mental process is to enhance your ability to see objects and use them to remember certain things you saw in the past. In this case, cards are used to form a pictorial view of these objects.

There is another procedure that utilizes dominos to represent pictorial objects. Dominos are meant to foster your memorizing ability. You can begin by arranging them in a group of ten. Select each group then memorize those dominos. Make sure that you are capable of remembering all of the dominos that you handled initially. Observe them consistently and repetitively until you have a glimpse of how they look like.

The next technique is commonly used by the armed forces to assist operatives in learning names and faces quickly. This technique is thorough and requires a hundred percent concentration and practice. It is meant to publish pictures into your medulla oblongata. There are several instruments that are required for this technique to work effectively.

Darker rooms are the most preferred for this operation. This is because the technique relies on light energy to transmit texts and images to the eye that are later interpreted and stored in the brain. Light emitting devices are therefore supposed to be used. In addition, you should position a sheet of paper comprising of written text directly in front of a lighting device. Try turning off and turning on the device that emits light energy. This will enable you to view flash lights of the texts or images you want to memorize.

Look at the literature material for about five minutes and switch off the lights. Carry out this technique over and over again until you are able to recall the contents of the literature material. This method utilizes light to systematically ingrain written material or pictures into your medulla oblongata.
