According to history, this population settled in the plains of Wyoming and Colorado. Communicated in Algonquian language with the rest of Cheyenne people with whom were allied. The Dakota and Lakota also resided next to them. The Arapahoe nation entailed the Southern and Northern Arapahoe. Those inhabiting Wyoming were the Northerners who were often referred to as the clan of the wind reservation while the southern Arapahos who resided in Oklahoma occupied the area together with the Cheyenne.

This community recognized among themselves five major divisions each communicating a different dialect but epitomizing many originally diverse but similar tribes. Each tribal population preserved a distinct ethnic uniqueness even though they occasionally met during political conventions. They expressed themselves via a reciprocated logical language, but there still occurred some level of dissimilarity from the appropriate and most spoken language.

This population was formerly categorized as the big large people, who stayed in the north together with the white clay people. They are known for retaining their historic cultural distinctiveness. The territories occupied by the rock society which neighbored the northern side stayed together with those who stayed in the south.

A challenging court order with Wyoming authority was originally secured by the northern population to take part in the casino industry. This was an anticipated platform for the society to boost their economic growth and development. Special events can also be held together with boating activities.

Actual educational undertakings are steered to the public by the community on the use of the natural reserve and proper ways to follow to preserve it for years to come. This is one of the unique features about the community.

The population currently obtains information on both resource and land management through planning, implementation of projects and general management of the national reserve. The improvement of the resource and land management by the population, establishes the key administration manner for the forest to provide a clear structure on implementation. Steering valuation measures is vital in locating dominant risks, opportunities and expected future occurrences. In conclusion, this population has been rewarded for its efforts to consider precautionary measures towards safeguarding natural reserves that have existed since time immemorial. This is a reflection of an existent of belonging and appreciation.
