People should learn resuscitation with the aim of saving lives. If people are guided by this urge, it could produce better results when circulatory attacks occur.

Cardiac arrest can occur anywhere whether in your home or at workplace. When it happens at home, it can be very devastating as you hopelessly watch your loved die. The initial minutes when circulatory arrest has struck are very critical. These minutes are what determines survival or death of that patient.

If something is done to help resuscitate the heart, then it could offer that person another chance in life. On the flip side, if nothing is done, that could be the end of that person. Before he or she is taken to hospital or the medics arrive at home, already life has ended. It is very brutal to lose lives this way when they could be saved by some simple live-saving skills like CPR.
